In July 2026, PARK[N]PERKS raised INR 5 crore from Mr. Hashmukh Gala through his family investment institution. For me, the meaning of this investment begins with the relationship behind it.
I had previously worked for him. From those early days, I could sense both his trust in me and his expectations of me. He encouraged me to dream bigger, and he was willing to support the extraordinary work those dreams demanded.
One thing I have come to value deeply about him is how he sees ambition. An honest failure while reaching for something extraordinary can earn more of his respect than a small victory achieved comfortably. He values the courage to attempt something difficult, the sincerity of the effort, and the honesty to face the outcome.
Perhaps that is something he saw in me.
After a project failure, I felt embarrassed to face him. Knowing the expectations he had of me made that moment difficult. His belief mattered to me, and so did the thought that I might have disappointed him.
Yet that experience brought us closer. It helped us understand something about each other: in some ways, we were the same kind of person from different eras. We shared an instinct to dream big and attempt work whose outcome could never be certain.
That understanding made our association feel almost surreal to me. Someone I had worked for had become someone with whom I shared a deeper sense of possibility.
His investment in PARK[N]PERKS carries the weight of that history. Behind the INR 5 crore is a relationship shaped by work, expectations, disappointment, honesty, and enduring belief.
Mr. Gala, thank you for encouraging me to dream bigger from the beginning. Thank you for supporting ambitious work and for seeing something in me that survived a difficult outcome. Your trust has given me confidence, and it has also given me a responsibility I take personally.
As we build PARK[N]PERKS, I want to honour that trust through the scale of our ambition, the seriousness of our effort, and the honesty with which we face every result.
